Email Authentication
One way to check is to view the
headers
on a questionable e-mail. In Outlook Express, right-click on the e-mail in
question
and click 'view headers'. You now should be looking at the e-mail
headers. The section named Received from is the part that we are
interested in. Look towards the bottom of that list if you got an email
from a hotmail account, then the bottom server should be something like:
bay19834g.hotmail.com if not than the e-mail might be forged, even if it
does, your e-mail still could be fake. for more information on a surefire
